This modern country house was designed and built by a local property developer who wanted character and personality in these rather large functional rooms suitable for a growing family.

For the kitchen, we introduced plenty of free-standing storage with a large larder cupboard, a marble topped preparation sideboard and a crockery cupboard.  The sink unit housed the dishwasher, water softener and a Falcon cooker.  A breakfast bar and a kitchen table meant there were different options for seating and dining.

We continued the theme elsewhere in the house to give a sense of flow.  The formal table and chairs in the dining room was complemented by a large dresser.  In the main bedroom, one our large double wardrobes was a great alternative to traditional fitted furniture and went alongside the his and hers sink unit in the en suite bathroom.
